We are hosting a Poetry & Writing Workshop in English.

The workshop will be moderated by Malda Smadi!

AGENDA
– Each participant must bring his/her own written piece (whether it is a poem, an extract of a story or just random thoughts penned down);
– We will read each other’s texts; and
– Have an open and brutally honest discussion about each text.

THE MODERATOR
Malda Smadi is an artist and writer who has worked in publishing as an editor for a number of publications in Dubai, such as Harper’s Bazaar Interiors, Architectural Digest, Brownbook and Canvas. Her written pieces have also been featured on blogs including Art Dubai, Virgin Megastore and The Poetryhood. Through her literary practice, she often writes poetry in prose  expressing her deep-rooted melancholia.
